At Quotemehappy.com we like to try and keep your premiums low that’s why we ask 100% of our customers for proof of No Claims Discount (NCD).

It’s really important that we receive your proof of NCD within 14 days of the policy start date. If we don’t receive your proof of NCD your policy will be cancelled.

What form does my proof of NCD come in?

Once you’ve bought your policy, you'll be asked to send us your proof of NCD. The proof will come in the form of:

  • A renewal notice from your previous insurer
  • Cancellation letter
  • An official letter from your previous insurer that confirms your NCD years

What are your requirements before uploading it?

The proof of NCD must:

  • Be in your own name and have been earned on a private car policy only (company car, van or motorbike are not accepted.)
  • Be issued by a UK or EU insurer (or an insurer from a country the DVLA includes in their license exchange scheme);
  • Be from a policy that expired within the last 12 months.
  • Not be already in use on another car insurance policy
  • Be legible when you upload so that we can see all your details clearly and approve without having to contact you again.

What must the document include before uploading it?

  • Your previous insurer’s name
  • Your previous policy number
  • Your previous insurer’s contact number
  • Your car’s registration number
  • Your name
  • Your postcode
