Quotemehappy.com extends distribution across two additional aggregators

Quotemehappy.com – the low cost car insurance brand for careful drivers – is extending its distribution across two more major price comparison sites following its exclusive launch on www.Gocompare.com earlier this year.

From today, Quotemehappy.com is available on www.comparethemarket.com and www.Moneysupermarket.com. Careful drivers can continue to buy direct from www.Quotemehappy.com and from www.Gocompare.com.

Quotemehappy.com launched in August 2011 specifically to offer low cost, comprehensive car insurance for careful drivers. The insurance brand keeps its costs as low as possible by operating online and premiums are also kept down as Quotemehappy.com is very clear about who it will and won’t insure. For example, it will not insure new drivers, those with older or more expensive cars or drivers who have had more than one at-fault claim in the last four years.

Marco Distefano, managing director of Quotemehappy.com, said: “This is an important milestone for our business as we move from being exclusively available on one price comparison site to being available via three key price comparison sites. We know that many consumers 1 now shop for car insurance on price comparison sites and so today represents a massive step forward for Quotemehappy.com.

“The challenge for us is to stand out in the price comparison site space – and we’ll do that by offering genuine value for money, a quality product and competitive prices for careful drivers. We’ve achieved this on GoCompare.com and will apply the same principles for success across the board.”

Quotemehappy.com is underwritten by the UK’s largest insurer, Aviva, and forms part of the insurer’s strategy to continue to grow profitably its UK general insurance business, exploring new routes to market and responding to changing customer buying habits. Research shows 75% of people now shop for car insurance on price comparison sites.1

Marco Distefano said: “Unlike most start-ups, we already have significant levels of brand awareness and we’re underwritten by the biggest player in the market – that gives us a great head start.”
